For those who were not at the meeting today, we assigned some (OPTIONAL) homework that, if you choose to complete it, will aid you in your writing.
This homework entails creating TWO (2) characters, new or old. You must follow the following rules and regulations whilst doing so:

          DO NOT:
Describe any physical traits. (Hair/eye/skin colour, height etc.)
             - This is forbidden as we tend to focus on characters looks rather than their personality traits and/or quirks.
          Describe and cliche's or stereotypes.
             - I understand you cannot avoid all cliche's/stereotypes, but a character is more interesting when it defies all expectations.

          DO:
          Describe personality/speech traits and habits.
             - This will make the character appear more human.
Tell us what the character wants most in life.
             - This is KEY in character development in ALL stories. A character must progress in their journey to obtain his/her/it's goal.
          Insert a brief history.
             - This is where cliche's happen. But it is unavoidable as a characters history creates the character. REMEMBER: Most personality traits are the cause of their history!

For those who will do this, it is due next Monday, break 1. I hope to see you all there and aid you in your character creation.

          Have fun Wattpading!

@STCWriters If anyone needs help or if you have finished and need a proof-reader, feel free to inbox STCWriters or myself with your questions/character profile. Also, a good point, your character does not have to be normal or even human. You can create an alien or a mage or anything you want. But remember to not follow cliches! ^-^
