“Ya done now, Hol Whore?” It was a breath of fresh air seeing that woman finally walk away. He'd been tempted to interrupt and even embarrass Hol that whole time. Yet, all he did was stand aside and let the guy do whatever he wanted. It was so awkward just waiting. He felt like a child waiting for his parent to stop talking in the middle of the store, except grossed out by the conversation going on - if that wasn't obvious enough in his words and tone.

@frctellone ]] Hol huffed, looking down at Baron with amusement. "Callin' me a whore n then asking me to get food with you... You're a real card," He said, shaking his head and chuckling. "Sure. I don't have much else to do at the moment anyway. Where d'ya wanna go?" He asked, looking around. Hol didn't really have any preferences when it came to food as long as it was well prepared and tasted good- there wasn't any sort of cuisine he didn't like or anything, and that may have been because of his travel experience.

“I'm not that rude. Unfortunately.” That southern hospitality was still engraved into him. It always held him back from doing things like interrupting people. “It's not that important anyway. I was hoping you'd grab a bite with me. Mostly 'cause I'm... really bad with socializing...” Here he was, working as a hitmen and being surrounded by such awful people, and the guy was scared to even order food on his own. In general, he didn't like being left on his own, especially in public places. It made him feel like a child that can't find his mom.

Hol looked to Baron with a scowl once he had approached him. “Dunno why you keep calling me that. The nice lady n I were just talking…” The cowboy was admittedly a flirt, but he was also a gentleman and respected women so it’s not like he was being actively explicit with her in public. “Why? Ya need sumthin’? Coulda just called me over,” He mused, crossing his arms.

@godlybeauty ]] Seemingly after he processed the situation, Hol’s breathing and heartbeat went back to normal. He looked… Confident, almost. He’d gotten out of this before, he could do it again, he just had to be careful with his next options.
Despite his fear of DIO, his statement did… calm him more, in a strange way. “You’re… Not mad?” He asked, almost seeming puzzled. However- if the vampire hadn’t killed him yet, it must’ve been true, unless he was toying with him. Even though he didn’t technically know if he was really a vampire or just a very eccentric and powerful man, the dreadful thought of being drained of his blood was one Hol avoided dwelling on for too long. “Well, I’m glad in any case…” This he could admit. “How’d you find me?… No, I doubt you’d come all the way here for me, so- mind tellin’ me what you’re up to in Italy, DIO?” Saying his name only brought him dread, a sort of confirmation that this DIO was cemented in reality rather than a nightmare. Even still, other than his tense disposition, his pulse and expression were calm.

He was probably the worst of the bunch to find. Hol had ditched DIO the second time he’d failed him and now he was deathly afraid he’d hunted him down just to kill him. No doubt he’s mad. He took a step back away from him, but knew he couldn’t run. “I-I’m not afraid. I’m just-“ Mentioning the possibility of killing him only sent him into a panic. “I thought you were dead, Mr. DIO. Is that really you…?” Maybe it was a stupid question but his tone made it seem like he was hopeful. In reality he was hopeful it /wasn’t/ him, rather some cruel stand or a hallucination caused by his paranoia.

@godlybeauty ] The cowboy's entire frame stiffened at the sound of the voice coming from nearby, his gaze immediately snapping from one side to the other in an attempt to locate the voice. Was he hallucinating? This couldn't be possible. Any servants who escaped the battle alive had taken DIO to be as good as dead. Hol's skin crawled with utter dread. He could barely even let out any sound or even move. It was the same dread he had felt all those years ago, but it just... "This can't be happening," He said, instinctively summoning his stand. Whoever was making him hear this voice was gonna get a real beating for scaring him half to hell... But no. As he managed to turn towards the source of the voice, his face inevitably paled underneath the hat which luckily shaded the terror on his features in the dark, but his fear was clear. "You're... You're alive."

[feel free to interact, am bored- I'm really rusty at rping anons so if my hol is bad dw he'll get better eventually- part 3 hol is definitely easier to write though since I don't have his part 5 story completely fleshed out yet. ]

STANDOFF-

@godlybeauty ] sad rip, given hol already had only two episodes in total its hard to figure out how he'd change over time and his placement in part 5 :') ]
