I take a large hit of my joint, watching the way the red ember lights up the darkness around me for that brief moment of inhalation. 
Then right on cue I'm surrounded by my thick cloud of solitude as I exhale, it's as predictable as the dawn. Smoking never lets me down, it never changes its mind and says,
sorry Cole, I just don't feel for you what I feel for him, I'm going to get high with your brother instead.

I am an emerging author predominantly writing within the romance and chick lit genres..... (okay, smut.... there, I said it). I love to create bold and defiant heroines and drool worthy men to fall at their feet. I work hard to write at least a little every day and when I'm not writing, I'm reading. 
In reality I'm an office manager but when I'm writing, I'm an evil sorceress strirring up my own version of hell to torture and excite both my characters and my audience.
