[ @Dodjo29 ] Thank You and I agree! I feel like you’re right about that and I will say that while my boss is a great boss, she’s also an even better person outside of being my employer. Yes, agreed, it definitely helps having a boss that understands the importance of my education, that life happens, and also that I have a life outside of being her employee and being a student. That being said, though, the job I have is by no means easy. Before working where I do currently, I worked weekends at a local music store and that was so easy I could do it asleep. haha I think so too, I’m very grateful to come from a family that has the ability to do things like that. I’m envious of your writing talents and abilities, so we’ll call it even haha it is very beautiful! We actually don’t stay at a hotel while there, my family owns a home in a nearby town about 30 minutes outside of Amalfi. In the show they primarily were in Sicily which isn't Amalfi, so I honestly can’t speak much on that, unfortunately. I will say though that if you ever get the chance to visit Italy and you’re looking to go to the Amalfi coast, be sure to rent a car (if you can), because that will allow you to be able to visit the less touristy parts and trust me, you’ll want to. Omg, Ireland?! I’m lime green jello! I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland. Are you by any chance a Dermot Kennedy fan? He’s a great musician from Dublin.

[ @Dodjo29 ] Yeah, I couldn't either, to be honest and agreed, it’s honestly not surprising at all, it kind of fits him honestly. So, Raya is an exclusive dating app that you have to apply and then pay to be on. So, when you download the app, you are asked a series of questions as a part of your application and then you have to give them your instagram handle and a photo of your state-issues ID. Then you wait to either be accepted or denied, and the waitlist is long. I applied in 2022 and I just got accepted in 2023, but to be fair I have connections which is how I was able to bypass waiting so long. I’ve seen a lot of celebrities, influencers, and athletes on there as well as CEOs, restaurateurs, finance men, etc. But, yeah, it’s not a dating app that just anyone can join, it’s screened, vetted, and you’re not supposed to even talk about it, so thankfully I can hide under my writing pseudonym to tell you about it without risking my membership. lol I honestly had heard rumors of him being on there, but yeah, I will admit I was a bit starstruck when I saw his profile for the first time. lol and yeah, you did and I find that so cool still haha! Ah, okay, noted! I’m only 21, so I haven’t explored much of the world of alcohol, but I do know I’m not a fan of vodka (unless it’s an extra dirty martini or an espresso martini) or american beers (like budweiser, budlight, mic ultra, etc). I like rum, gin, and green beers (stella and heineken). Ah, okay, I shall have to try that sometime, thank you for the recommendation!

[ @Dodjo29 ] I think so too haha and omg haha I love that comparison omg, yes!!! Literally, just yes! Haha and that’s very true! Thank you, I will say, though that I think the way I grew up played a large factor in my writing. My mother wrote a lot when I was growing up and she still does in her free time nowadays, but I grew up in a very supportive and creative household, so that probably played a role in me enjoying writing as much as I do now as well as my appreciation for the arts. For right now, I’m just writing for fun. I don’t think I’d enjoy writing as much as I do if I had to do it for work. Although, it has always been a dream of mine to publish a novel or write a piece for a magazine like The New Yorker or New York Magazine. My major doesn’t exactly align with writing professionally, although it’s not entirely unheard of for individuals in the field of what I’m studying to publish books. Omg, lists are so fun for some reason, it’s always nice to meet a fellow list enthusiast! Ah, okay, that sounds interesting! Do you enjoy what you do for work? I mean, there’s nothing wrong with straight to the point! Haha Joe and Julia have also become a part of my everyday life too lately. In between updates, I find myself thinking about them, as if they were a real-life, non-fictional couple that I know. lol like I fear I may be becoming parasocial over a fictional couple and quite frankly, I’m not mad about that haha! Omg, no because I love that for you, though. I think that is always a tell-tale sign of a good author– the noticing things irl that remind you of your works and characters. Honestly, that’s okay, I’m perfectly content with Joe and Julia and Gator/Laney/Maggie right now. I haven’t been able to read much of the gator fic lately, but I look forward to restarting it once I have the time.
