Sandra M. Reed

Sandra Reed received her B.A. in English and Drama Education from Dillard University.  She served others through various occupations:  Chicago Public School teacher, volunteering on several boards and elected official. Four words describe Sandra:  Leadership, Experience, Commitment, and Compassion.

Sandra is very fervent about transforming and inspiring through her writings.  She has written several songs, screenplays and fiction novels:  Buckwheat's Journey and recently A New Journey into the Light:  Buckwheat Saves the Galaxy.   Her writings are a reflection of her life experiences and travels that encompass the culture, environment, and people.  Sandra desires her writings to encourage solutions and actions.  As a member of Actors' Equity, Sandra knows the importance of honing her skill, so she is very active in networking and blogging with several organizations, social media, and blog groups.  She is very passionate about exploring, learning, and refining her writing skills.  Sandra says, "Writing empowers me to be a voice for so many who need love, peace, and happiness.  It also gives me a chance to make the world a better place by letting my light shine."
