Hello from the other side!! It's been forever since I uploaded anything, but I promise updates are coming soon! In addition to a new chapter of BITTW, I'm uploading a story dedicated to a special friend. I hope you all like it!

I can't believe the inauguration is tomorrow. I know it's silly that I'm getting a little emotional, especially since I'm not exactly a political person, but Obama is the only president I've really known and it feels so weird that he's leaving.
          
          Obama become president in 2008, when I was in 5th grade. From then until the end of my first semester of college, there was a black president in office. I was proud of my country for making history.
          
           So many things have happened in these past 8 years, both good and bad. Maybe we didn't improve as much as we could, but I think we took a step in the right direction. A step towards change. 
          
          Thanks, Obama. We'll miss you. 
          
          And since this is the last time I can say it: America has a black president at last!
