You don’t know how it all happened but all you remember is the pain. You felt warm arms wrap around you and hold you close to a warm body. You knew who it was. “Lunar” you whisper shakily and you try your best to look at him through your haze. He hiccups and puts more pressure on the large wound in your abdomen trying to stop the gushing red liquid from coming out. “My sweet Lunar, I need you to do something for me.” He whimpers but you knew you got his attention when he pulls you closer. “Lunar you can possess me once I’m gone, it’s what you wanted right?” Lunar’s breath gets caught in his throat and he chokes up, his tears falling faster. You place your shaking and bloody hand on his cheek rubbing it gently. Blood trickles down your chin “Whatever happens it isn’t your fault, ok” Lunar buries his face into your neck trying to take in as much of your body heat as he can as your body grows colder in his grasp. You spoke your finals words to him and what you said made his chest hurt and his stomach twist. “I love you” you said softly and with that you were gone. Cry’s filled the room as Lunar’s sobs wracked his body, pulling your fragile form against him as tightly as he could. “My Dove, please. Please don’t leave me.” He ran his quivering hand through your silky hair and planted kisses on different parts of your delicate face, hoping that you would wake up and the nightmare could be over. You didn’t wake up, and he nuzzled into your neck muffling his pitiful sobs of emotional pain and heartbreak.
