Before he became the Ranger Hunter, Nick Jameson was just a ranger. Born on Earth-TRN27, Nick was the Black Ranger of a team known as the Ultraforce Power Rangers. They were a government task force that were sent on missions to handle any national threats. With the Ultraforce Rangers, it seemed that the world was heading for peace. That was until the Strangers came. They were dressed in what seemed to be Ranger outfits, one was white with green and the other was pink with black. They identified theirselves as Lord Drakkon and Ranger Slayer. When asked where they were from and what did they want, Lord Drakkon only replied "What I want are your powers, so I can be one with the Morphing Grid." Refusing to give their powers, the Ultraforce fought Drakkon and his army. The battle went on for many months, but in the end, all of them, except for Nick, lost their lives to the tyrant. Lord Drakkon took a traumatized and powerless Nick to his hideout, in hopes of making another Ranger Slayer. Nick had suffered about ten years of torture, before he broke. However, it wasn't in the way that Lord Drakkon had wanted. Instead of joining the White Ranger's side, Nick rebelled against. Killing some of Drakkon's soldiers and escaping, with what had seemed to be a morhper in his possession. During his time traveling through dimensions in a ship, the former ranger knew that Drakkon was after every ranger in the universe. With thought of nobody being able to defeat the killer of his world trapped in his head, Nick decided that in order to save the Morphing Grid he would have to get rid of every ranger before Drakkon could get his hands on them. And so, under a new name and a new mission, Nick is now known as the Ranger Hunter. Traveling through the mutliverse to find any signs Power Rangers and "save" them from a fate that could cost them their universe.
