Idk whether to try and incorporate this into to the story somewhere, or just stick it in the an or the prologue, but in ToS sunny has: silver scales on her wings and underbelly, darker scales on her underbelly and wing (dark brown/yellow, not black) so she blends in with the sky (not as well as a Nightwing, but better then an average sandwing) and her tongue is black and forked (which it's not in canon despite both sandwings and nightwings having forked black tongues??? Anyway)
