I love writing! I've written and published six novels, most recently the contemporary fantasy Sketchbook. I'm always working on something new, and I'm looking to share some of these things on Wattpad!

What, you're still reading? You want to know more? Fine.

The easiest way to begin my story is to tell you that I'm a Military Brat. Some people will say that they're Army Brats or Air Force Brats or something else along those lines, but Military Brat is the one that fits me best. My dad was a Navy doctor who worked with the Marines when I was born, moved over to the Air Force when I was a toddler, and finished his career as a hospital administrator with the Army. I got a little bit of everything growing up, lived a little bit of everywhere, and kept a little bit of every experience to make me into who I am now.

I've always been a writer. In second grade I'd write and illustrate books about the kids in my class and bind them in cardboard. They were mostly a hit with my classmates, but led to a phone call to my mother asking her to encourage me to not write stories about kids in the class eating rotten mayonnaise and getting diarrhea. My mom got another call in sixth grade, this one from my favorite teacher, who told her that I should be a writer when I grew up. And now here I am, writing books and loving it!

I don't always write. Sometimes, when Planet Fitness is having their free bagel morning or free pizza night, I go to the gym. Once in a while I am walked by a giant, spirited Golden Retriever named Copper T. Dogg. Sometimes I even write for money. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I can't believe it's been five years since I was last on Wattpad. Even crazier is that I still remembered the password! My new novel came out last week, so I thought I'd post my first one here to cel...
