Yes, there’s still room for improvement when it comes to your writing, but your style is your style. You’re telling the story from your own point of view, using your own words, and honestly, I find that really cool.
One of the things I appreciate the most about Grace Between Us is the simple devotion you include in the chapters. And what’s weird is that sometimes, I’m having a bad day, then I read your new update, and the Bible verse you shared that day is somehow exactly what I’m going through. It’s like sakto talaga sa situation ko. I’ve been battling some inner demons, and I just wanna say thank you because, somehow, your story and those little devotions help me. They may seem simple, but they really make a difference.
I also wanna say thank you to Baste and Thea. I know you know them personally and that you’re just telling their story—or maybe the book you’re writing is inspired by their lives—but I still wanna thank them for their lives because, somehow, I can relate to what they’re going through. Especially the part where they’re both busy because of college, plus their responsibilities at church.
I may not be as active in church as they are, but their lives have somehow inspired me. And today’s verse, James 1:20, really moved me.
