sounds of smoke alarm went off early morning Finn was in the kitchen trying to make breakfast for him and Poe. Benji ran into Poe's room barking so he can wake up. the thing is Finn doesn't;t know how to cook he thought if he watched Poe do it then he can do it he makes it look easy. now freaking out he doesn't know what to do

" it's fine, you don't need to worry! accidents happen. " he wrapped an arm over finn's shoulder and smiled at him. " i'll take over from here, yeah? you can go sit down, i think you need a minute. "

waking up to the sounds in the kitchen and little feet of a black and ginger corgi wagging it's little tail sniffing the new face then licking him barking to wake up. eyes opening confused but smiles a bit and pets the little dog softly. he honestly thought that last night was probably a dream but relieved that it isn't.

@REBELP1L0T Benjamin happily eating the pancake. eating some of the pancakes swallowing before speaking, "it's fine I slept well enough to sleep until 10am" he smiled softly. he really doesnt need much he's happy enough that he's out of there so he won't complain. he so thankful of this strangers gratitude and kindness he cant think of a way to repay the kindness, he'll think of something

" xe flashed a small smile to him, then continuing to make pancakes till the batter was gone. benjamin barked desperately at poe, hoping xe would give him a few pancakes. out of guilt, poe knelt down and put a pancake in his dish, giving him a small pat on the head before standing again. " i— uh. . . hope you slept well, i know the couch isn't the comfiest place to sleep. . . "

@REBELP1L0T feeling alittle embarrassed now aware of the time but brushes it off. sitting up and Benjamin leaped off of him following poe into the kitchen sitting watching and waiting for the food to fall on the floor. "um yeah I kinda am thanks " he smiled at xem.
