Assalamualaikum and Hello everyone! If you weren't able to tell already from the greeting, I am Muslim. I realize most people confuse the name of the follower and the name of the religion being followed so I'll just clarify: my religion is Islam and because I'm a follower of Islam I'm known as a Muslim. For example, if someone was a Jew you wouldn't say their religion is Jew you would say Judaism. Now, with that being said I am against discrimination. I know this is pretty obvious but I just want to say that I will NOT hate you for being who you are (Christian, Jew, Hindu, black,white,brown,whatever). I respect you, you respect me. And besides we're all human. Honestly, sometimes I feel animals love each other more than we do. *sigh* Anywaayyss moving on to other facts about me:
(1) I'm Bangladeshi too. Is that cool or what? Lol not really my country (Bangladesh) is pretty small see if you can locate it on the map (:
(2) I speak Bengali and English at home (mostly English. Not really strong at my native tongue. Sad, i know.)
(3) I'm learning Spanish and Arabic. I'd have to say language in general is one of my favorite subjects (:
(4) I'm the youngest of 4 siblings!! They're all married and have children making me a very young aunt (have a total of 4 nieces and 1 nephew and still counting...)
I love a good laugh, cats (though I don't have any sadly), reading, writing, sleeping (sometimes), spending time with the kids, annoying my siblings, annoying my mom too, mom's hugs,mom's yummy food, spring/summer/fall, maybe winter too if it wasn't cold and icy, comedy, and yes I'm a hopeless romantic. I don't believe in Valentine's Day- you should shower that special someone with your love every single day (: And speaking of love... I don't believe in dating both for religious and personal reasons. Allah has already chosen someone for me <3 I don't feel the need to go search for my "soulmate". I guess you could call it faith. Thats it for now(:
