I should really republish my Overlord and the Rising of the Shield Hero book, shouldn't I? Once I get my drafts in order and get a more concrete writing style, I will! Every time I think of this story, I get super embarrassed because it's just _cringe_
But I think everyone has that same feeling when they think back on their first bookd/stories
I have decided to take 'The Rising of the Shield Hero... But with a twist' off of wattpad. Not without good reason though! I never really expected someone to read it, so now that people are, I want to better my bad writing. I made this fanfic on a whim and it is my first work, so tips to improve my writing style are always welcome!

Okay, for a new chapter I need some info. I haven’t watched any anime in a long time so I don’t remember much. (1) But does Naofumi’s shield activate when he is being assaulted? (2) Can Naofumi actually hurt someone physically with only his hands or is that just not possible? (3)Does his red berserker shield activate subconsciously or not? Things like these help so that I can minimize the plot holes like Naofumi being able to see the status, name etc. of someone he meets for the first time. I completely overlooked that. Thanks a bunch in advance!

@PlumSwallow Do not worry about it, it is better to ask than to say something without knowing. And with regard to the damage they do, as long as it does not exceed its defense attributes, the damage is not so great, suppose it has 100 defense, if they attack it with something of a lower value than that, it does not suffer damage, that when it is damage only to his body, and let's say that the shield gives him another 100 defense, that is, if something attacks him with a value less than 200, his shield does not receive damage. (the amounts are examples, I think if there was specific data of his natural defense and his shields in the manga / LN / WB)

I have an idea for a book (that I may or may not publish in the future). It's called 'My New Life As An Asshole'. I got this idea as a sort of joke, it's basically making fun of how many 'I Got Reincarnated Az The Villainess' stories there are. Do you think I should write it?
