Graciette the pub cat

Graciette is the cat of the pub,
 she often patrols the gentlemen's club, 
She can sometimes been seen behind the bar, 
but more often than not with the men who laugh. 

With soft orange fur and bright blue eyes, 
her visits are often a welcome surprise, 
well versed on the rules of their nightly games, 
she sometimes keeps score when the gentlemen play. 

Beloved by all, fussed all day, 
Who would've known that she's basically a stray. 

Left alone by the man who owns her, 
Gus is the only family who stands by her, 
A loving, caring, and doting grandfather, 
More so than her human, who rather, 
Would spend the night getting drunk out of his mind, 
Whilst Graciette just helps the barmaid, kind. 

Always fed scraps to keep her in shape, 
She always makes sure no one's ever late. 
Always intervening whenever there's violence,
Falling asleep when only there's silence.
