I'm so fucking mad... On the news, they announced the Straight Pride to be on August 24. I fucking went off and said that they didn't need be celebrated because of how they get to live their lives without fearing what others might think about them. One lesbian/bisexual couple were attacked as they were just trying to have a good night out just because of their sexuality. This is and never will be okay. The fact that people think there is a need for a straight pride is just plain stupid. Straight people don't need to be scared of the fact that their family and friends won't accept them for who they are. When this came on the news, my mom said she celebrate it. This pissed me off even more. I actually went off on her and stopped in the middle of it, I couldn't even continue speaking to her. I just walked out on her.
