I am thrilled to announce that The Intern is going to be published this year (TouchPoint Press 2019) and I want to thank everyone who has read the story and given me encouragement along the way.  Honestly, if it weren't for the enthusiastic comments and positive reviews from hundreds of WattPadders, I would have given up on the whole thing and started Canasta. So, a very heartfelt thank you.

@PeterHogenkamp i came across your book Intern accidentally and found it quiet gripping. It was a great feeling to finally read something related to my stream on wattpad. I do read medical thrillers quiet often but none of the authors I have come across describe the life of hospital staff the way you did. It was great to see inside the world of a regular intern.
          Looking forward for a hard copy.

Any update when the Intern will be ready to purchase? 

Hello All! Hope everybody is well. I wanted to pass along the great news that The Intern will be coming to a bookstore near you as soon as my literary agent finds the right publisher. Sadly, this means I had to take down all but the first two chapters. On the good news front, I plan to start another story on Wattpad as soon as I have a minute. Hello All, and thanks again for your support. Today is a bittersweet day, as I have finished the last chapter of The Intern. It is sweet to finish something--the sweetness of accomplishment, I suspect--but bitter because I have to say goodbye to these characters, at least for a while, while I continue working on book 2 of The Jesuit Thriller series. Book 1 is currently being reviewed by publishers, and I hope to have a publishing date by the end of April. In the meantime, enjoy this final chapter. I gave it a lot of thought, and I am very happy with the way everything came together at the end. Please share The Intern, now that it is completed: and thank you again.
