I just reread Crows and honestlyyyy it’s so cute and so good!! I was so good with characterization I think, but I can tell I made it a loooong time ago lol. Pacing is a little weird at times. I forgot a lot of interactions and things that happened.
I should reread Spark next bc I haven’t read it in yeeeaaarrrsss I’m kinda scared. I wrote it when I was 14 so I’m expecting it to be a little cringy lol
Still working at Weight of Living. I like rereading old stuff for inspo. I love being a creator of things and getting to look back and be proud and see growth.

@POPPYTEA Oh, yeah, for sure! It's been a while, but I remember Crows and Saving Sable really being the pioneers of non-action focused WC fics. Sort of like how Thoughts started the short story trend back in the day too! It makes a lot of sense to me! I really liked it as it gave a fresh take on Warriors I hadn't really thought of before, and it led to a lot of unique and character-focused stories!

@Wildwonders176 No I totally agree! Maybe I’ve got a big head, but I think Crows helped start the trend of non-action plot wc fanfics on wattpad if that makes sense? I feel like back then wc fanfic plots tended to be more prophecy or action based, but Crows plot was completely relationship based. Specifically, a negative relationship grounded in real world human dynamics. Idk if that makes sense, and there were def other people also writing some more psychological stuff vs action battle stuff.

@POPPYTEA I also reread Crows recently! I still think it holds up really well, I definitely think you've improved a lot since then (not saying Crows isn't good! It still is, but you can see the foundations that were planted and you've built upon since!) I remember it being one of the more unique Warriors fanfic plots back in the day, so it always stuck out to me! I don't think I ever finished Spark but I was OBSESSED with it in middle school, I really got to give it a reread/full read through! It's cool that you're able to look back on your own work and seeing how you've grown! It's fun to see where creators have started and how they've grown since!
