Gerald Harnold Falanan Olouman (Born July 7, 1986), better known as Birdy Fogh, is an African writer and web developer. Born and raised in Benin (West Africa), he moved to United States in May 2007 and spent a year in Boston, MA before he moved to Saint Cloud, MN in 2008 where he went to school at Saint Cloud State University.
His interests in books started back in 1996 when his father got him a library card at the French Cultural Center. He used to read two books a week and Agatha Christie was his favorite author. He has always been interested in finding the keys of mysteries and his book’s collection varies from thrillers to romances.
Even though he was an avid reader during his childhood, he never wrote a poem or a story until 2008 after the tragic death of his dad.
During the summer 2012, he moved back to Boston where he wrote the book “Stay ... I need you”. It is a collection of poems and short stories that explore the complexities of relationships between human beings.
