I hope and pray each and everyone of you is doing really really good; My stories on an African retelling of the legend of Odysseus will soon be out in series here on @Wattpad; Its a sequence to Femi Osofisan's work, 'Women of owu'.
Over here at Africa? We've had so many indigenous writers who have in all sincerity written beautiful stories but lagged behind when it comes to telling legends! In this aspect, I wish to chip in with a story you will love.
Its titled 'Beauty from Ashes', and its a play! Its set in Nigeria and neighboring Niger republic; with cameo scenes in Senegal; its a love story that brings together two people from different places entirely, with different culture, tongue and even color...! Will these two races blend to under the power and magic of love to become one? Only time can tell!
