Okay, this may be a hot take, but idgaf. I just want to find a good story, but tell me why a majority of the most popular stories are just put SMUT or just a big ball of pay gorn with NO. FUCKING. PLOT. Like when I search up #woosan, and I look through the stories, I get NOTHING. Just a bunch of terribly written, unrealistic, Icebreaker typa shit. Look, if u wanna read that, that’s fine but this isn’t about you. You know stories like Divergent? Delirium? The Hunger Games? PLOT. BEAUTIFUL. AMAZING. STUPENDOUS. I ESPECIALLY love the detail in Delirium. CHEFS KISS. THAT is what I fucking need. Not a 2 second long chapter with a just plain dialogue (especially stupid dialogue) or with one-line-long paragraphs. More like “paragraphs” bc wtf is that? It’s like asking for a hot dog but all you get is a drop of ketchup. Seriously, I don’t mind a bit (and I mean a BIT) of bad grammar, (look, this is why we got Grammarly and shit.) but there’s no way you fuck up THIS bad. Unless you’re nine years old or something… And what happened to descriptions? Can we normalize having descriptions? At least a LINE like a quote or something to describe your damn book? Because why am I playing fucking Sherlock Holmes trying to find out wtf this story is about when you have 3 tags, a random pic as your book cover, and a “description” that says “idk?” Yeah, I get it, this app is filled with h0rny people and pay gorn…. But if you’re gonna be a h0rny at LEAST be a GOODFUCKINGWRITERTHATISLITERALLYALLIMASKING. And PLOTTT. I just want PLOTTT. “two best friends who may be feeling a little smth for each other :3” (sorry, ik some of yall fw that) Especially when it looks like there’s plot, but then you read it and it’s either the Sahara desert or it’s just a bunch of corn. Uh…WHERESTHEPLOTT? Sigh. I just want a good book to read :,( I’m too much of a nerd for this…. Chat, I fear we may have lost the plot. Literally.
I mean, I LOVE only smut books, but most of the times I want to read an actual good book, and those smut books only have an awfully unrealistic smut with the worst grammar ever, and that's I think the worst part of all of this, like damn, if you're going to write a smut book at least do it right T-T
@ Official_wooyoung I completely agree with you, this happens too with books in Spanish, damn, they're even worse sometimes, specially the grammar part, I have way better grammar than those english books and my grammar is AWFUL ASF and english is my second language. And omfg don't get me STARTED with the descriptions, you have no idea how much I hate it when they give CERO INFORMATION ABOUT THE BOOK JAHSKWNDKSNDKSND it makes me so angry omfg
