Does anyone here watch his dark materials and/or read the books?
I’m desperate for someone to talk to about them and it’s so annoying cuz no one I know irl watches or reads it

So, I have a question about panic/anxiety attacks. I know I can find a lot of stuff online, I’ve looked. But I don’t know if what I get are either of these because I don’t meet as many of the symptoms as I probably should.
If you have experience with this, would you say it’s still one without many of the symptoms?
Like no thoughts of death/dying, don’t normally get hot or cold, don’t really feel pains in chest and stuff?
          Sorry.

@Padfoot2020 I have more panic attacks than anything else. I don’t usually have all the symptoms. I’m imagining you could have either of them without many of the symptoms, as our minds and bodies are wired differently.

The big thing is what causes the two, which is how you can usually tell the difference. Panic attacks are sudden (ex: a deer unexpectedly runs in front of your car. You hit the deer. You might have a panic attack).

Anxiety attacks are usually seen as something building up, something that makes you anxious (example: you have go into a crowded room with loud people. You are expected to give a speech once the room hits dead silence. You are told this three months in advance, and your anxiety kicks in).

Those are just general things, and I’m not a doctor/psychologist. My suggestion would be figuring out what causes your attack, as that might be the best way to figure out what you’re dealing without and how to handle it.

When you literally see no reason why anyone would ever like you, but still manage to worry about if someone likes you or not for the tiniest reason-

@jeggylover Grew to live in fear of Bruno’s stuttering and stumbling, I can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling, I associate him with the sound of falling sand sh sh sh
