Lmao so for the first time in all my years as a Wattpad member i have been muted by an author from commenting on her books. Now you must be thinking damn wtf did i do to get muted and be ready to be disappointed by how mundane the reasoning for me being muted is. I have been reading this book where these brothers have complete control over the mc. And at some points they weren’t letting her leave their presence in the scene even though she wanted to, so i commented my normal human reaction of “let her leave” and i disagreed with them not allowing her to leave when she wanted to. Apparently my response and opinion was negative and warranted that i be blocked from commenting any further on her story. Okay that’s cool I’ll stop reading, but my main issue is that this author was so insecure with her writing that any comment that didn’t praise/agree with her characters was an automatic reason to silence you. This is not what Wattpad is about. I understand silencing repetitive negative comments, but mundane human reactions?! Wattpad is a community of creators and readers who share and exchange feedback and ideas. When an author is prohibiting your opinion from being stated because it doesn’t align with theirs that’s when there’s a problem. I just think this is utter bullshit and I’m pissed off at the fact that I’ve been muted. Lmao idgaf about her book i just don’t like the fact that i literally cant even go off on her because I’m blocked. And i felt the need to rant about it because the level of immaturity exceeds anything i have ever experienced on this app. If y’all would like  to know exactly what author i am speaking about i will gladly tell you lol just pm me. Anyways that is the end of my rant. Continue to create and never be afraid to comment your reactions/opinions when reading a story!
