One of my friends recommended this platform to me and oh boy, this place is heaven for fanfics, just read a few chapters of weapon of God, very inspiring stuff, I was literally imagining every scene in my mind like the ones in Kalki 2898ad.

I also have a kind of twisted story idea based on Indian mythology. Still work in progress though, If you don't mind answering my question, how do you approach writing stuff, do you have an entire base plot figured out before you expand them in chapters to publish? Or some other approach?

Did you learn writing professionally or from a course?

          Thanks again.

@DannyGlade12 damn thank toh for checking out my book! Its my first time hearing that someone recommended my book so its such a confidence boost ngl. But to answer your question, I might disappoint you. I come from a religious family and I have grown up with such stories. The most motivating factor was that my parents are not pushy with their religion and both me and my sister talk and discuss about mythology a lot as if it is completely fiction (just how someone would discuss about their favourite movies). For this book, my inspiration came from completely out of spite. I read a few Mahabharata ffs on wattpad and was so put off by how glorified the pandavas (or the kauravas in some cases) were shown and how Krishna was literally given a free pass for basically torturing the female lead by putting her in a time where nothing of comfort existed. So I just started writing with an oc that felt more like me (pretty atheist, fed up of life), but had a bit of character that could propagate a plot (army veteran, needs to go back home).

And believe me I had millions of ideas about how to progress, but none of them fit. I always knew how I was gonna end my book, so I just needed a climax that would propel the story forward towards the epilogue. And to come up with THAT was the main challenge. If you keep reading the story you'll see how frustrated I was throughout for not getting a sure idea of how to form the climax.

And no, I never learned writing but I was an avid reader before joining college, so that helped. The writing did improve from my first fanfic (the Naruto one) but I do not think it is that good, just better than average Wattpad lingo I suppose because I was 18 when I started writing this book.

All the best for your book tho! Feel free to drop the link of you want me to read

@GameofDice Thank you so much for notifying. I can see they have translated other books too of different authors. I told them but I think they are mostly AI generating as stuff. I have reported the book but let's see. Thank you again.

the title of each chapter is slightly different, but the content of the story is the same (at least in the first few chapters that I saw. I didn't continue because I really hate plagiarism).

Your 100th Follower here!! Woman you have the ability to make me cry, I cried so hard at the epilogue of 'Weapon of God' like WHY COULDN'T YOU REINCARNATE HER ah sorry I'm just emotional about Evi's Death, and Krishna being emotional added to it I couldn't control my emotions

WifeOfTheSteveRogers

@Mrs_Rajput No worries I'm just emotional about the fact that Evi yk finally ended her story by choosing the peace option Atlast I'm also sure she's happy about getting free from the cruel world :) Though I would miss her

I hope you'll create more unique Mahabharat stories, I'll be waiting till then Take Care Author :)

@Mrs_Rajput hi! Thank you for the follow (even though I am mostly inactive nowadays). Ah tbh the ending was one of the first things I had decided because I see death as the biggest escape. So sorry for the morose ending but believe me Evi's surely happy for getting peace after almost 17000 years.

Heyyyy! I finished your book 'Weapon of God' sometime ago and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated a book on Mahabharat with a modern MC with a 21st (or later idk lol) mindset. I'm religious don't get me wrong but it felt so refreshing seeing a MC who doesn't blindly trust Krishn, and questions his logic too.

And I finally found a book where it's acknowledged that Draupadi was basically A CHILD when she got married, I mean in StarPlus Mahabharat her theme was literally 'Mai Draupadi jisne bachpan nahi dekha'.

Your perspective on Duryodhana and other Kauravas and how they were actually treated by the adults around them which led to their demise was beautiful. They had their insecurities but no one paid attention to it, except for you.

And how the Pandavas basically worshipped Yudhishthir. Ik in our culture, the older brother is 'your second father' but he had so much pressure on himself, no one ever realised that. Most people either just hate Yudhishthir or love him but your take on his character was so unique. So refreshing.

I just wanna thank you for creating such a masterpiece. I hope you can actually publish this as a novel one day. And also, now my standards for Mahabharat books are really high and I blame it on you. That's all lol, this is so long

@emotionalpotat thank you so much for this sweet review! Tbh I started this just out of spite after reading a few Mahabharata fanfics. Obviously a few were good and inspired me but suddenly I read too many weird ones and was like " damn I gotta write one to overcome this feeling of distaste". But I am so glad that people are reading and liking it. Hopefully you'll get to read many more great Mahabharata fanfics. One of the best ones I have read are Awakened series by DrKanu and Dristhi. Both of them are romantic and have no resemblance to mine but they are beautifully written and are emotionally brilliant!

Hello there, thanks for placing the order for review but I am resigning due to some personal reason. I think in this case you should go for some other reviewer and also, you are free to withdraw all the payments you did to me. Thank you and all the best for the future.
