Not really dead yet.
          	 Just feeling like this site has a terrible issues with dumb art/character/adoptable thieves who think its fine to give away "adopts" made by other artist  and "even state not their art" and some how think this is 100% fine to do. 
          	 Let me just say DON'T DO THIS!! 
          	 Seriously learn copyright and if something doesn't belong to you then don't use it. AND just because "everyone else does it" doesn't make it right.
          	 It hurts the artist and its scamming and stealing. Someone has most likely paid
          	As an artist myself I find this truly beyond sickening
          	
          	If you see "adopt" books and it has different styles and multiple watermarks, states "not thier art" or just fishy in general DON'T adopt from them and report them to the rightful owners and tell the user they are doing something illegal

Also if you don't know who the artist is then DON'T use it
          	  Always ask for permission and credit .
          	   You can still be reported for copyright infringement even  if you give credit and didn't get permission
          	  And just because you edit something it doesn't make it yours
