"I always give and you always take!" Life said to death in distress. "I create and you destroy everything I have ever created." 

Death looked at life in silence as life continued to rant.

"I thought we were friends!" Life was close to tears now and Death could take it no more.

Death creeped towards life and wiped away thousands of unshed tears. "Nothing lasts forever, Life. You know that. Why do you torture yourself by loving something so fleeting?"

Life embraced Death and Death embraced Life back. A mutual respect was shared between them.

"Because that would mean one day we will end too."

Death's heart constricted at Life's words. It looked deep into the Life's soul and said "Which is why what we have now is so beautiful. Which is why I cherish you. Which is why I love you."
