I'm Nila Sharon Jacob... erm, not really! 😂 That's my pen name. My stories are based on real experiences, though I may dramatize a few moments. Names and details might change to protect people's privacy.

A little about me: I'm often described as quiet, serious, shy, or reserved. Apparently, being quiet means people get to invent your entire personality! Sometimes, I just can't jump into conversations moving at Formula One speed. By the time I've figured out what to say, everyone's moved on! Anyone else relate?

But there's more to me than first impressions. I'm humorous, sensitive, creative, musical, and sporty. I love trekking, exploring God's beautiful creation, and finding creative ways to teach my kiddos as a special educator. I may be reserved, but trust me, there's a whole novel happening inside my head! 😂

So why write? Sometimes, putting thoughts into words is easier than saying them aloud. Writing lets me revisit memories, laugh at things that once hurt, and make sense of experiences.

That's what *Still Here, Still Learning* is about. I'm not someone who has life figured out. I'm simply learning, growing, making mistakes, and trying again.

Expect personal stories, humour, faith, reflections, and random bits of creativity. Some might make you laugh; others might make you think or feel a little less alone.
