I'm the stereotypical middle-aged writer at heart...the woman who strayed from both reading for enjoyment and writing as an outlet. I reconnected to that love after many years of allowing everyday life to get in the way. And oddly enough, it all started with a touch of the lips. I was tired of reading about the plundering propeller tongues always going in for the kill and wondered if I could write a really good, subtle and teasing first kiss. With one scene, a description of searching eyes, torturous hesitation, and that delicious growing intensity, the floodgates were opened and the rest is history.

I'll admit I'm behind the times on so many literary platforms. I come from the days of a good old fashioned hardcopy and the addictive aromatherapy only a used bookstore can provide. I've published one novel (with unsatisfactory sales because I'm still learning), and I've got a couple more in the works, but I'd like to share my random bits and pieces along the way.

My work is primarily mature romance, some of it contemporary and some paranormal so far, but I dabble in other areas as well. A Different Kind Of Hero is my primary book, and I encourage feedback. It's why I'm here in the first place. If you'd like a read swap, feel free to message me and we can work something out. I enjoy helping other writers as much as possible.

It goes without saying, if you like what you read, please vote and share. I need to do right by the little people in my head, and I need your help to make the revision worthy of them. Caleb Fulbright, the love of my life, deserves the very best. (Is that bad? To be absolutely ruined by my own character? I mean, he makes me wish the movie Weird Science was possible. At some point, he took on a life of his own and wrote himself into being, and damn if the man doesn't make me laugh out loud and swoon even now. I know, I have issues.) Anyway, I hope you enjoy. ;)

I'm pretty sure Wattpad is just very slowly committing suicide... From notification problems preventing interaction, loss of the forums, loss of functions that allow for social interaction, and just...
