Believe what you want... everyone has a story in them: they just don't always know where to start.
For those who want to learn... pm me; I'll help brainstorm, tossing ideas back and forth, and I'll give your work a read if you ask! For those who just want some references to improve-

While they analyze and deconstruct video games and their tropes, they also touch on character depth, story structure, and symbolism. If nothing else, they serve well for finding examples of great moments of narrative in games, as well as inspiration!

For a specific video, I'd suggest their analysis on Spec Ops: The Line. It is a great example of a game built around a central concept, and everything within helped tell it; mechanics, visuals, dialogue... EVERYTHING worked together.

In my experience, a lot of public libraries have these. There are some great tips in the first 2 for how stories have been written (albeit in the comic medium) and all three have references to great comics (findable online, pretty often!) that can serve as inspiration or as examples.

The webcomic, El Goonish Shive (http://www.egscomics.com/)
It's been a great inspiration for me, that got me interested in trying to write my own TTRPG campaign world - while some of the early comics are problematic, through the years the author has grown and matured, and it shows! It has helped me overcome my want for perfection in my first drafts, and willing to go back and change details I am no longer happy with in my works.

Every now and then I'll post my story seeds for tabletop games, but I'm mostly here to follow my friends, discover some short stories, and work on this one story I've got. I'm a fan of Steampunk, Mythology, and Magic; if you're the same, give Unwoman and Abney Park a look/see- they're awesome!
