Hey y'all...
What a ride! "Will You Be My Valentine?" is now practically finished! Yay!
Thanks to all those who have stuck week after week since February 14th. I posted this on Wattpad as just one chapter back when I was working my soul crushing airport job. It was meant to be a short story, but these characters were too big to be kept to one page. Now 2020 is almost over and I can finally say that I've finished a full feature romance novel! It's always said that writers need readers and thanks to all of you sharing on social media, retweeting, reposting and voting on all chapters, we had shattered the goal of 1k reads around chapter 20! Crazy! We're almost at 2k reads now, and I'm sure it'll only grow further. I'm not going to kill too much time here as I'll be posting an acknowledgements chapter saying thank you to everyone in great detail. So I'll keep it short:
Thank you to my readers in Portugal! You know who you are. You skew my demographics to hell but I love you anyways and I love deeply.
To my South African readers! This is for you! So I'm glad you stopped by to enjoy my story. I hope it rings true. It's a reflection of my story and my environment and I'm just happy to call this place home.
And last (but not least) thank you to my USA readers. You all probably came from Twitter, but if not you're still very welcome! I'm glad you guys stopped by and read my little story with all you've not going on there. I hope you enjoyed it! Please stay tuned for more of my work.

Hey guys. It's finally coming to an end. Chapter 36 is the 2nd last chapter of WYBMV.
But it's okay! Don't be sad. There will be more. I have to edit the entire book and until I complete that edit, it will be available to everyone but won't be labelled as complete until (what I call the macro edit) is complete.
Also, sorry I haven't addressed y'all lately. It's been a while since we've had a chat, but I've been swamped with college stuff and music stuff. But since this is the 2nd last chapter, I tried to get back on track so I could open this up for discussion and prepare you for the end. We've come a long way with our Mr. Dambuza junior. He's made us laugh, made us cry, mate us angry and made rejoice with all the lessons he learnt.
Whether there will be a sequel or not I don't know. I do have a concept, but I don't know if I'll choose to act on it. Maybe if you guys let me know in the comments that you're interested, I can toy with the idea. Until then, stay tuned to see what journey I begin writing next, so we can enjoy that together as well. I hoped you liked this week's chapter. A lot was leading up to it and it's one of the last glimpses of Senzo in Soweto that we're going to get.
