I'm Nate.  Language enthusiast, part-time conlanger, lumberman, chemical technician, Irminist Chaos mage, anarchist, monarchist, poet, spinner of tall yarns.  I mostly write low-fantasy adventure stories, though I've been known to dabble in other genres and to put out the odd poem or two.

I listen to pretty much every kind of music, from folk to death metal to gangsta rap.  My favorite fiction writer is J.R.R. Tolkien, my favorite poet is J.R.R. Tolkien, and the objectively greatest band in music history is Led Zeppelin.

My biggest literary influences are Professor Tolkien (obviously), Robert E. Howard, Robert Heinlein, Egil Skallagrimsson, and the guy who writes the Real Facts on the Snapple lids.
