It’s with August Alsina so the first one ion really remember the storyline but I remember his love interest was named Diem and in the book August was grieving and didn’t let Diem comfort him and went to seek comfort in another woman’s arms.
The second book is August and thus girl we’re both depressed August would smoke/sniff heavily and they both made a promise to commit suicide after high school but the girl started getting better and applied to college, August came to find out and felt totally betrayed. First forward he lets the girl explain and they decide to try and seek help and August goes to rehab but it’s hard quitting his addiction
