MyWickedWays

Good day, everyone.
I hope you’re all doing well.

A lot has been happening here in the Philippines lately: the typhoons, protests, the Taal volcano eruptions, and, most recently, the earthquake in Cebu. I know all of this can feel heavy and overwhelming, and it’s normal to be on edge when so many things happen one after another.

I don’t want to say something dismissive like “everything will be okay” because I know for many, it doesn’t feel that way right now. But what I do hope is that each of you can find the strength to do your best and keep going, even in these difficult times.

To those who have asked, I’m safe. My relatives in Cebu are also safe, as are my parents, who live not far from the province.

I didn’t want to make this post untimely, but since some of you have been waiting for news, I also want to share an update about my works so you don’t feel left hanging.

180 Degree Rule will be updated sometime this week. I’ve just been taking a little time to compose myself after everything that’s been happening. As for Kings on the Horizon, it will be on temporary hold. This isn’t indefinite—I’m planning to reread everything from the start, since my updates have been slow, and I want to cross-check my notes carefully with the new chapters I plan to publish.

My goal is to build up a buffer of chapters again so I can return to my old pace of three updates a week. For those of you who are patiently waiting, I ask for just a little more time as I work through Volume 7.

So much is going on in the world right now, and my biggest wish is for everyone’s safety. Thank you for your kind messages and for using my stories as a way to escape the chaos, even for a moment.

          	Please stay safe, everyone.

          	- N

ANNOUNCEMENT:

There will be no update for "The 180 Degree Rule" today. With the rallies happening across the Philippines, my focus is a little scattered.

These rallies are a stand against corruption, with people’s voices uniting to demand accountability and real change from politicians who have long fucked over the Filipino people just trying to survive and make ends meet.

As an author, my purpose is not only to entertain but also to inform, to write about the truths we live in, and to remind us that stories are born from things that are happening in the world around us.

I stand with everyone fighting for a better future. Please stay safe in the coming days. This is only the beginning.

@MyWickedWays
            Hey.
The people of your country are very brave to raise their voices and stand against corruption that almost prevails in every states apart from a few.
My state is no different than yours.
Here we are living in a system where dynasty politics reign supreme. Only a few individuals run the government and no new candidate is allowed to join the system.
Even if people take to streets to rally or demonstrate, the military here sets then ablaze.
Masses have become so intimidated that they can only relay their frustration through social media platforms.
However, I am glad to know that your people have the courage to speak against the big fish and corrupt elites. May their efforts be fruitful and yield productive results.

The best best best writer ever!
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the plot, stories, and characterization are masterfully crafted, and everything serves to enhance the psychological depth of the story.
I'm glad I'm one of your readers.
