So I have begun posting my new book "Lovers and Madmen," a tragic romance (slightly paranormal). I had started working on it in the spring and even published a few chapters before taking it down to overhaul it (at least for the prologue, I've managed to get the Glue Index below 40% which feels like an accomplishment).

          	The new work is set in the same world as "Lean" with several familiar characters, but tone and themes are very different. Some questions from "Lean" are answered in "Mad" for those who've read it (both of you).

          	Today the prologue goes up and I hope to have chapter one up by the morning of December 25th.

          	Happy reading,
          	Murph

Hi there :)

          Your books are intriguing and I've added them to my library to read (in all my copious spare time). It may take me a bit, but I'm looking forward to digging in.

          Question: is Murphy Chapelwood a pen name or your given name? It's got some je ne sais quois. Kudos to whomever thought it up. :D

ArdenBrooks

@ArdenBrooks Ah good. I'm glad you've enjoyed it. :)

            Kudos to Fate. It was good to you. I have Opinions on names, and Murphy Chapelwood is a winner. :D

@ArdenBrooks Thanks for taking an interest in my work. I enjoyed reading yours; it's easy to tell you are really in your element with this type of material.

            Answer: Murphy is a pen name. Its creation is a trade secret, but I will say Fate deserves all the kudos. ; )

@Hafferby Thank you for the congratulations. Yeah, it went up last Tuesday after about a two-month wait after sending in the form, which I feel was a pretty good turnaround. It's garnered a couple hundred new reads already and has been saved to I can't remember how many reading lists. Let's hope that translates into more reads. : )

          Currently, I'm deep in the tank with my next work, which is a kind of semi-sequel. At least, it's set in the same world.
