NOT CURRENTLY TAKING CRITIQUE REQUESTS

If you got here through the "Find a Critic" thread, then you would have read the point about a *permanent* follow in exchange of a critique.  Due to the amount of people following and unfollowing after my critique, I must warn you that doing so will also lead to my deleting my critique from your story.

After I have accepted your request, I will *not* start critiquing your book until you have followed me.

[and yes I am aware the above makes me sound obnoxious and unbearable, but I do take a lot of time and effort making sure my critiques are not cut-and-paste, empty words, and can actually help improve the writer -- so I expect the same respect and courtesy in return]

First and foremost: I am a reader and a book reviewer. 

While I will never be rude, condescending, or try to belittle you in any way; I will also not mollycoddle or caper to your feelings.

In short, I will always be brutally honest when critiquing your work. What I liked, what I didn't like, what I think can be improved -- everything that pops into my mind while reading your story will be expressed.

That said, please keep the following in mind:

★ My reviews are critiques of the book, and not its author;
★ My reviews are subjective -- what works and didn't work for me may very well be different for others;
★ Harsh reviews are not meant to discourage you from continuing to write;
★ Criticism of your work is not criticism of you personally or your ability;

If you're still up for a review, PM me or write on my wall. Also bear in mind that I am a woman in her late 20s, meaning petty high school drama-slash-romances are most likely not my thing, hence reviews will probably not be favourable.
