There are 3 keys to improving on and writing a good story that I think everyone should know. And its stuff I've had to work on and improve on and am still working on and improving on.. and one of the reason why my older stories are very cringe looking.. but my more closer to present year ones actually feel like they weren't written by a 12 year old lmao.

          	1. Prose: Always work on your prose.. always make sure you're not writing an essay but are using language that grips- but not overusing it. Re-read each paragraph and see if you actually enjoyed reading it, if you didn't, if it gives you a headache .. you might want to rethink it.

          	2. Read.. TONS of books.. and I don't mean fanfics on Wattpad.. Fanfics tend to be a mixed bag quality wise- even mine- and it won't give you a good standard for what qualifies as good writing. Read real novels, and spread out your genres, even ones you don't usually read or like.. read Dickens, read Tolkien, read Rowling (who despite being a bigott, does hold good examples of prose and building up tension- along with how to write slice of life situations). Read Lovecraft (also a bigott), read Stephen King, Hell, read Christopher Pauloni, he wrote Eragon at 15, if anyone can show you how well a young person can write, he can. Diversify! Read a bunch of Star Wars Legends novel if you like! Manga doesn't count, I love manga and its beautiful art- but it can only teach you how to write dialogue overall.

          	3. You won't always know what happens in your story. You can have a framework.. I want character to develop this way by the end, they start out like this, they fight this at some point, and then the ending is this- that can be your skeleton- but when you write, you're reading it too (That's the fun part). Write like this, and you might surprise yourself and you won't feel bored writing long chapters either. Its Daydreaming by writing.

@Misaka_Omnitrix Hey Misaka,
I just saw that Wattpad added a new feature that lets writers organize their existing works into series folders. I was wondering if you might consider using it for some of your ongoing series—it would make it a lot easier to keep track of which stories belong to which series.

P.S.: will you be continuing your MHA series anytime soon, its been a year or two since the last chapter.

Of course these three things aren't the only things. You should be thinking about plotholes, constantly rereading your chapters after they are done.. etc. etc... but these three I feel are a good basic framework for improving as you go.

The wild wild pussycats vs Nancy-chan.

Nancy-chan attempts a cat themed bank robbery with various felines.

Tiger: "Stop right there, crimal scum!!"

The pussycats arrive at the scene to stop her.

Nancy: "Ah, the wild wild pussycats. What perrrfect timeing."

Mandalay: "You've been a bad kitty, Nancy-chan. You're under arrest."

Pixie-bob: "Yeah, and you've been given us felines a bad name."

Ragdoll: "And we just can't let that stand."

Nancy: "Oh, is that a fact? Well let's see who exactly the bad kitties are when I'm done with you lot."

She uses her power on the pussycats, but... nothing.

Tiger: "Uhm, was something supposed to happen?"

Pixie-bob: "I... I think she just tried to use her quirk on us."

Nancy: "What?! Why didn't it work? I control cats, and you're all are-"

Ragdoll: "Wait, did you seriously think we were real cats and that your quirk would work on us? PHAHAHAHAHAHA, THAT'S HILARIOUS!!!"

Mandalay: "Yeah, none us are actual cats, or even have cat quirks. Our customs cat theme is purely an anesthetic choice."

          Nancy: "Well... fiddlesticks!!"

          Tiger: "GET HER!!!"

the pussycats proceed to beat the snot out of Nancy-chan as she screams out in pain.

          Nancy: "MRAAAAAAAAOOOOOOW!!!"

Hey Misaka so I’m doing a Devil May cry x Re: Zero story and I wanted your honest opinion on it. I’m not gonna post it in here because I know you don’t like people advertising their stories on your profile so just check my profile and look for Witch May Cry. I wanna get some feedback from one fanfic author to another. I have the general cliff notes for the story planned out but it couldn’t hurt to get some good feedback from someone who knows what they’re doing to an extent.

          Hi, Misaka_Omnitrix
If possible, I have a question for you: Have you been watching To Be Hero X? If so, are you planning on adding those characters into your Ben 10 Dark Apocalypse stories or Radiant War stories?

To anyone who decides to try to advertise their stories on my profile just cause u want to leverage my large following. I'm just going to delete your post and mute you after giving one warning.

Doing this to anyone that isn't a profile that's made for advertising works like wattpads fanfic page is rude and says you just want popularity and u don't care who u step on to get there.

@RoxasWings If you wanna get your story out there, you should focus on putting the right tags on your chapters and updating as regularly as you can. Wattpad tends to either put out stories that get a lot of reads- or stories that get frequent updates. My frequent updates was how people noticed me more, than once I got enough readers every time I updated, I could afford to relax more.

BUT that's only 50 percent of the battle. You need to also learn to right a story that'll keep the people who look at it coming back for more. You may think you have a great story- but its only great cause you think it is (i've had this problem before). Try reading your own book now and then and see if you can actually read and enjoy it the same way you would any normal novel you buy at the store.

@lin_starsnigth its common sense that you should ask ANY author before you put ads on their page.. Its not YOUR page, its their's. Do you see other youtubers going onto other people's Youtube videos saying "Hey check out MY youtube video, not this one" ? Its common sense good manners. I wouldn't advertise my stories on your page.. would you like it if I did that? just told the readers who came to check you out to come check out my story instead? Don't stand on my account just cause you haven't done the work to get a following yet. Do the work yourself. On Wattpad, people DO notice you if you write well- you might not get millions like some lucky people on the algorithm, but you can get there- improve your own writing, put in the hashtags so people find you more on the story search and get it done.

So I’m genuinely curious about something, what have the Saturdays been up to since the Calamity? Like do they just run a Cryptid nature reserve somewhere? Is there a Cryptid version of Jurassic Park out there?

Misaka_Omnitrix

@Ghostwolf2022 I honestly didn't consider it. Outside Omniverse the Saturdays just feel so weird and out of place in the Ben 10 Universe. If I had to guess, they'd be in Mayfel.
