I have been at a loss for words after hearing that Roe v Wade has been overruled. After reading what my dear friend has said on this matter, I have chosen to show her message along with sharing mine.

@notjennieee : ‘The overruling of Roe v Wade is devastating.

Not only is it astonishing that nine Supreme Court Justices - all over the age of 60 - got the decision to chose the fate of an estimated 160 million women across America. But that six of those justices chose to allow this overruling and give control to the fifty states.

Not only the percentage of unwanted babies will spike. So will the numbers of suicide, unsafe abortions, ectopic and septic pregnancy death rates and infections and health issues will rise along with it.

Five of those six Supreme Court Justice men voted to overrule Roe v Wade and one of the three women also chose that decision.

A decision that has shocked not only the nation, but the world. A decision that has now put women in domestic violence, rape victims, people in financial strain and those that have mental and just normal health conditions all at risk.

          Women are at risk.
          Your body, your choice’

Abortion is not just a ‘solution’ for women who do not want to be pregnant. It is a way out, how to escape from abusive partners, disapproving parents and so much more.

It gives women an option. In some situations, an escape.

Abortion. Is. Healthcare. You cannot strip away a women’s right to have an abortion.

          This is heartbreaking.
