What a welcome to Wattpad! Thank you all for following me and giving Always Emily a try! My publisher likes to call my books "tales of intrigue and romance" -- which is a little ironic since I'm the least romantic person on the planet. And I write about the iconic female writers of the 19th c -- Emily Dickinson, the Brontes, Louisa May Alcott (due out in Spring 2015) -- who are famous for ending up alone. Maybe no one understood them? Having a husband would have limited their writing? The challenge in my books is to give these ladies a brief brush with romance with someone who "gets" them -- who actually love them for their eccentricities -- at least for a moment. What do you think? Are love and great literature mutually incompatible?
