Meri Greenleaf

I'm Meri, an author, artist, and flow artist who combines these loves into a comic fantasy series about artists and carnival performers.

My current project is a lighthearted series of fantasy novels (with a steady stream of short stories that I'll share here) set in an arts-centric culture. "Unexpected Inspiration" is New Adult high fantasy set in a world that's contemporary to our own; imagine if instead of steampunk or Earth history, technology had been powered by magic and then progressed to a time period equivalent to now. It's got romance, comedy, magic, and an lgbt+ cast, as well as paranormal/supernatural elements. If you like fun stories about dorky yet charming characters, I hopefully have you covered.  I'll share short stories from the series whenever I write a new one.

"Hidden Magic" is one of my oldest stories and is novella-length. It takes place in a different world than the "Unexpected Inspiration"stories. I may at some point write a sequel story to this because these characters have been asking me for closure ever since I wrote this one back in '11.
