It's been nearly a year since I went on my writing hiatus, and unfortunately, I believe my hiatus will last much longer than I expected it to.
          
          I appreciate the support I have received from every single one of you, since I joined Wattpad almost seven years ago. Your love and support was my motivation to want to write.
          
          However, as life goes on and I have gotten older, I have found it more difficult to put writing as my sole focus. Working a full time job that requires 40 hours of my attention a week, spending time with my husband, amongst various other activities, writing has been put on the back burner. 
          
          I am hoping that one day I will be able to upload my stories for all of you to read, but I believe that the length of hiatus is undetermined right now. I have been creating (in my mind) and I hope more than anything that I will find the time to write my ideas down.

As of right now, I am unsure of where I stand as a writer.
          
          Given the amount of overwhelming feedback I have received on Vengeance From Darkness, of which most were negative comments and a majority of the commenters were being straight up rude and (pardon my language) "arseholes", I am currently on a hiatus from Wattpad until I feel that I have regained my confidence as a writer. When it comes to my writing, I am very self-conscious, and I think the comments I received may have shaken me too much and the desire to put myself "out there" has currently been tucked away.
          
          I will still be writing and when I return from my hiatus, I will have plenty of chapters to add to The Shadow Pirate and Vengeance From Darkness, and there is a chance I will be adding another story to my page.
          
          I apologize for the inconvenience, but I thought my lack of recent activity should by addressed and explained. Hang in there, please be patient and thank you for your continuous love and support. 
          
          Just a friendly reminder before I go: always think about your comments before you leave them. If they come across as rude, try to rephrase them or just don't leave them at all.

Hi everyone! I wanted to apologize for the lack of activity I have demonstrated lately, but let me tell you - life has been busy! I have hardly had a chance to write, much to my own dismay, and I had a job interview recently, which will make my writing schedule a bit difficult as well. I'm really hoping to sit down and write today, so please bear with me as I try to get everything organized :) the intend for the next few chapters of Vengeance From Darkness and The Shadow Pirate to be long, so brace yourselves :) thanks for the understanding and continued support!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you! I have been slowly working on chapters for The Shadow Pirate, as well as Vengeance From Darkness. Life has been a little crazy and busy at the moment, but once I get a chance to sit down, write and edit, I'll be sure to upload the chapters as soon as I am able to :) Hang in there, and thank you for being so supportive and wonderful!
