Alan Mcguffin

I am a retired Chemistry teacher living in England. Although I was born and raised in N. Ireland, when I finished University I took to travelling the globe . I have lived in, and also taught in, several different countries. I now spend some of my time writing mainly teenage to adult Fantasy/Sci Fi books. I also dabble in computer graphics and woodcarving, and my wife and I often go on long walks in the beautiful countryside near where we live.
   I have so far published three books at Smashwords and am about to publish two more.
   I try to keep an open mind and love to communicate with other people with similar interests to my own.
   Although I've got a lot of 'grey' on top I'm in my second childhood, (or is it my third? I've forgotten.) Anyway I've always been 'young at heart' and intend to remain so.
   I'm trying hard to live long enough to read all the books I want to and do all the other things that are so interesting in this Technological revolution.
