My actual name is Mia, not Maya. The story behind my (childish) pen name is incredibly lame. I often get called Maya and as a result that's just the name I began to use when I don't want to reveal my actual identity. As for the "Apples" part, I was sitting at a Whole Foods when I made this account and on the wall in front of me, there was a poster with a picture of apples on it.

I'm an English/Journalism major in college and although I know I want to be a writer, I'm still not exactly sure what kind of writer I want to be. I do, however, love creative writing and no matter how many times I attempt to quit and focus strictly on school, I can never seem to let it go. When I'm not trying to complete an endless pile of homework or writing, I'm either re-watching some of my favorite sitcoms or reading.

Since I created this account when I was only 15, I'm determined on editing all of my books, so I'm not looking to translate any of them yet. If you'd like to use something from one of my stories please ASK me before doing it.

One last thing: I try to update as often as I can but life can get hectic and writer's block is a very real thing, so please bear with me if it takes a while to get a new chapter out.
