Mat Murphy

Pastor Mattie Ice is the founder of Running Water Events (runningwaterevernts.com or @RunningWaterEvents on Facebook), which is a fundraising group attempting to help provide clean running water in developing countries worldwide. Mat primarily blogs, with most of his materials having a life lesson at the end. However, he tries to write anything that will inspire. He attempts to add humor and authenticity to his writing. He has a few books in the works, including Hymns & Howls, which is set to be released fall of 2020. He loves reality television competition, and looks forward to play one (or multiple) soon. Even still, he uses concepts from the social experiments to help him while teaching on the island of Saipan, writing for anyone who is willing to read, and working on papers for the completion of his doctoral degree in education.
