My fingers hurt. Legos are torture (I brought this upon myself. I don't have to do this but I must finish)

A little rant because telling my mom off will not end well.

I'm more comfortable in "masculine" clothing. I don't feel comfortable in skirts or crop tops or really anything society deems "feminine" When it comes to clothing.

Right now I'm getting ready to go to a graduation party and I tried on a shirt that I bought yesterday which I love but it's cropped. I figured when I bought it that I could wear high rise pants or a tank top under the shirt to feel comfortable. So I tried on a shirt and a skort that I wore a few times last year.

This year I'm not comfortable in the skirt and paired with the shirt I'm just really not comfortable in the outfit.

I made this comment to my mom about the shirt being cropped and not liking it.

She says "Why, why does it matter? You have a cute stomach so there is nothing wrong with you wearing it" Then goes on to explain how she would definitely wear it if she had my body and didn't have stretchmarks from having kids.

When I said I wasn't going to wear it and I was going to change she says "Oh, but you looked so cute"

Idk if I'm just overreacting but this shit happens all the time and she can't seem to grasp the concept of me liking more masc presenting clothing.

@MarvelDork005 honestly at that point I would just refuse to wear it and tell her directly that I hate those types of clothes and I don't want to wear them, and I feel like your mom should respect that if it's your decision cuz it's your body and she needs to learn that it's not hers even if she likes those type of clothing you don't so she should get used to that. Even if she's trying to reflect what she wanted to wear when she was a teenager on to you, that's not okay and she should stop doing that because you're not her if she can make her own decisions, you can make yours, especially since you've already graduated and you're practically an adult now

@chanswife28 the thing is I've tried doing that. I've told her I don't like wearing certain stuff and she still tries to make me wear it or try it on

So incase anyone was wondering....here's a little life update kinda...

I started writing on here when I was a freshman in highschool...so around 14 or 15 years old. I am sorry to whoever read my first published story (The Bucky one with the shit cover, I think it was called Stay?) Eeesh, I was not a good writer. I still don't think I am.

          But anyway! Onto present times...

I am now 18 and going to graduate HS in May... I'm also set to start college in August...I'm scared...but also excited. I'm going to be majoring in Film and Media Productions. Writing and Directing specifically...

And... what's really cool is that the college I will be attending has connections with Marvel and the Russo Brothers. Meaning, I would possibly have a chance to work as an extra or behind the scenes, IF they need anyone since the campus is located in a popular filming area for them.

I'm kicking my feet and giggling thinking about it. Fuck, I really am living up to the MarvelDork title.

Also, the sequel to Frigid Love is STILL in the making. Don't lose hope just yet ;)
