alrighty well... um ok i'm marigel fernandez (that's pronounced mary-elle, don't ask about the spelling) and well i am originally from mexico but half argentinian from my dad's side. been living in the states for four years as of june (legally, don't be jumping to conclusions). i go to a performing arts high school where i'm currently a sophmore and majoring in dance. although, i'm not that preppy, annoying, stubborn, self-centered, all-up-in-your-face dancer (not all dancers are like that) you see on those tv shows. nope. i'm a hundred percent realistic with a slight touch of hopeless romantic. i love traveling and visiting new places with new faces to meet. photography is my number one thing, i really love taking pictures and editing and putting all the work into a simple shot (i'm a firm believer of that "pictures are worth a thousand words" thing). dancing obviously is my hobby, it's one of my getaways, i dance to become someone else and mostly to escape everything and anything. plus it's been the only consistent thing in my life, the only thing i've been able to hold on to since i was 7, and trust that wherever i go, i'll find it again. BUT, to what's important here, reading and writing are my number one getaways. they're my number one ways to actually get lost. im very behind on popular reading choices actually i just started the maze runner.i love reading even though i don't have that much time to do my own personal reading choices during school time but i get easily into a trance when i read a book i'm actually interested in. i'm the kind of person that when i want to read i will push everything and everyone aside and sit down and focus all my attention on nothing but the book in my hands if you distract me i will forever hold you accountable for disturbing my fine moment of escaping reality. same thing with writing, i've been writing short stories and a couple of poems since i was 11. and i'm hoping to post a current story i'm writing on here soon..
