Hello, my (pen) name is Marie McGuinness, I am a mum to four grown up children, two grown up step children and one grandson.
I have had ambitions to be a published author for as long as I can remember. Originally by the time I reached 30. My 30th birthday came and went so I changed my aim to my 40th birthday. My problem is finishing. I have the ideas, the characters, the plot all in line, and I get the first chapter finished quite quickly, but then I slow down quite dramatically and have never finished a whole novel. I suppose I could add all my unfinished works together to make a whole book, but I don't think it would make much sense! :)
I like reading fantasy, adventure, afterlife stories and humourous novels. I'm also a fan of autobiographies.
