Maralina Sakura

Greetings! My name is Maralina, as I'm sure you figured out. 

If you're reading this, I assume you've come from one of my old works. I wrote those stories back when I was about fourteen to sixteen years old. My reason for writing was for escapism. Admittedly, I was depressed. Writing was my relief to condition myself into believing I could be loved. 

I know, pretty heavy for an introduction, right? I want to be honest and move to a more professional relationship. I'm in a much better place now. For those of you who read back when I was uploading, I hope everyone is in a good situation. For those reading now, hello! I hope that my teenage works can help bring you the same relief it brought me. 

Assuming you've read this far, you're probably wondering what I'm going on about now. What are my plans? I want to start writing again; for different reasons than years prior. 

I want to write for other people. To bring smiles to their faces. If my writing can make someone's day better then I consider it all worth my time. I've had writer's block for years. It's about time I overcome it by realising my work will never be perfect. It's about the heart you put into it that makes people read and enjoy.
