"Flower sittin' for someone?" At the sudden address from her oldest brother, Francine's hands paused as she let go of the small weeds she'd been pulling. With a look over her shoulder, she gave her brother a smirk. "Assumin' those are flowers, that is."

"They are," Francine confirmed with a nod. "Well, will be. But, I ain't sittin' anyone's flowers, either." She clarified. "I'm goin' to grow these ones!" Gold blinked. He gave his sister a surprised look. "Finally ran out of room at home?" Francine rolled her eyes a little, teasingly throwing the meager handful of weeds her brother's direction.

Unfortunately, he was standing just far enough for the small stems to fall between them both. "Firstly, I'll thank you to put some respect on my flower garden, I've never ran out of space and I never will do."

"Alright, I will!" Gold said with a chuckle, his sister giving a small shake of her head. "Secondly," Francine continued. "What I'm gonna plant here, are flowers for Mother's Day." Gold hummed, intrigued as his sister's little plot now made sense. "Usin' the community garden as a hidin' place for Mom's flowers?" Francine nodded, a clever look about her. "Well played."

"Thank you!" Francine said happily with a hum.

"Remember When?" Final Ch. 12: How Much I Love You

"Your Aunt Ella & I were inseparable, even from the day she was born," Ballora said. "Which, I was around your girls' ages at the time." She could see awed looks from her daughters in reaction to the story, which only prompted Ballora's smile to brighten a bit more.

Tina then turned to look at her dad, who sat cross legged at the end of the couch—facing the five of them. "Dids Uncle Nat also like you when you was born, Daddy?" She asked him, the tone of the question sounding as though Tina expected a positive answer from him. Puppet chuckled a little. "Eh, from what I was told, your uncle wasn't too sure about me when I was born."

"Wait, huh?" Tina blinked confusedly, her sisters, too, giving their dad puzzled looks. "I think he was worried about your father having our full attention because he was the baby, Melys." Py added in explanation from his seat close to those on the couch. "Some kids feel like that with a new sibling." Puppet concluded.

Ballora then gently rubbed Tina's back, regaining her attention to say, "Don't worry if you don't understand, it's harder to get it when you're born at the same time as your siblings."

I've already this year's Freedom AU Christmas special about 3/4's the way written, sooo what if I were to do a handful of Christmas Doodle Sketches as illustrations for some of the chapters, making the whole project a merge thing with my usual "Christmas Doodle Countdown" that I'd been doing the past couple years (·.· )

          An ideaaaa

"Remember, When?" Ch. 11: Wind For a Melody

Some pillows from their beds were brought to make the inside cozy, with a few plush animals having also found place inside the fort. Plush animals such as Tina's plush penguin, Duke, and the Pippin plush their Aunt Ella had somehow got for Mina. Their cozy fort was all done up just the way the Minireenas liked it to be.

Still, something was missing. Rosette finally realized what it was.

"We needs some music!" Rosette announced. Her sisters stopped what they were doing and looked up at her. "What kinds of music?" Lucette asked her. Rosette hummed, tapping her chin in thought. "Um... I dunno, actually...." She admitted.

"Cans we use Mama's music box?" The three others' attentions turned to Mina, all seeming interested in her suggested. "Okay!" Rosette hummed, getting up from laying down on the floor of the fort. "I'lls be back!" She said, carefully pulling back the 'door' of the fort and stepping into the open living room.

Before taking off for the staircase, Rosette spotted someone sitting at the kitchen table. Her GrandPy.

'Remember When?' Ch. 10: Today, It Is Your Birthday!

"Who'd you hear about this from?" Their mom wondered. "Aunty Ella tell'ed us about it, from when she was a little girl!" Ballora nodded. "Ohh, okay. I think I know which year it was!"

The Minireenas moved on from the lamp and couch legs with their streamers, the four of them all tackling the piano. They began to wrap streamers around the piano and bench's legs, to start, while listening to their mom as she spoke.

"I remember it had rained by the time your Grandpa and I made it back for my surprise party." She said to them, now moving onto the next archway with her roll of streamers.

"But it had still ended up being a special birthday. After the cupcakes and presents, we wound up playing all sorts of games until your Aunt Ella and I got tired out." Ballora recounted with a smile. "And even when we both went off to bed for the night, we played a last game. 'Whose raindrop on the window between out beds could reach the bottom first'."

"Who winned?" Tina asked with an eager glance. Her mother shrugged, laughing a little. "We fell asleep before the race ended." The Minireenas giggled at hearing that.

Stepping back from the archways, Ballora set her roll of streamers back into the bag—swapping it out for a packet of balloons. "Once you girls finish with your streamers," She began, her daughters watching what their mom was doing. "You can all come get some balloons to tie up around where you put your streamers."

            "Okay!" Came the Minireenas' responses.

Small Freedom AU announcement!

Unless I manage to transcribe & complete the short story earlier, expect a new short story from “Between the Moments” on October 25th! It’ll be a mostly wholesome Ennard x Ella(Baby) short story. So, stay tuned!

I have Gold's "bite of '83" canon event mostly figured out in my head, you guys

(Not an actual bite or actual event that happened in '83 but it's Fredbear's canon event that caused the family diner to be shut down I mean)

          ~coming soon to a book 15 near u~

so in a shock twist gold has been holding onto a traumatic event all these years and only Puppet, Springtrap and Shine know about the full extent, Freddy only partially, so there's that fun fact :>
