I can’t find any non ff found family books that are actually decent. Half of them end in death and the other half has a confusing timeline. 
          	
          	Is it too much to ask for a lost sibling book where the siblings aren’t hateful rats? And the fmc isn’t a CHILD. The last one I read she was 12 :| the writing actually wasn’t bad on that one icl, but the brothers annoyed me.
          	
          	Give me something where we see the characters slowly grow to trust and care for each other. I don’t want immediate “omg I love you my fav sibling!” I want “thanks for getting to know me and allowing me space to find my place here.”!!!!! And istg, if I see another ai cover I might lose it :D

This is so real!!! Honestly I’ve not been reading wattpad that much so I’ll say inheritance games is as close as I can get to your descriptions (even tho it’s a published book).  Also the batfamily webtoon fits is almost perfect if you’re into web comics!  Technically it’s ff, but it’s super lighthearted and I think you can enjoy it without knowing anything about the characters beforehand.  I love found family but it’s literally nowhere so I just write it for myself now…

Do you know how heartbreaking it is to find a really good story, but it’s still updating, and you’ve already caught up, so now you spend every couple of hours, like a loser, opening this dang app just to see there’s been no update :/

there is nothing more unsatisfying, knowing there is more to come but I must wait and possibly lose the magical feeling of bingeing the 100,000 words prior. oh, and the fear that the author might abandon the work which is just tragic

If you want to know how I’m doing after finishing The Syndicator, just know I’m not doing. I have no one to talk about it with, and now I’m just kind of existing with the content I’ve consumed. 
          
          Hopefully, my dear friend of almost 6yrs will hurry up and read it before she starts her uni semester, that way we can discuss the details. 
          
          Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go curl up in my bed and think about what I’ve read. Maybe even cry a little. 
          
          I’m going to need a lighthearted book after finishing that one.

Reading this book and I wanted to see how many chapters it had, but the chapter thingy wasn’t showing, so I searched the word chapter to take me to the closest to the end, ENDED UP SEEING A WHOLE SPOILER THAT RUINED MY WHOLE MOOD CAUSE WTF MAN! WHY IS THAT DANG TROPE PRESENT!? Makes me not want to finish the book till the 3rd one comes out. The only issue is the 2nd book only JUST came out, so idk how long I’ll have to wait for the 3rd, just so I can finish the 2rd. Right when I was in a reading mood :( 
          
          ig I’ll finish the syndicator by RuNyx instead 
          
          My stomach is in shambles after seeing that spoiler. Am NOT okay

@lostin5weeks I used to read the last page as well, but haven’t in a bit. My mom tells me not to (read the end), but I hate being heartbroken. I haven’t really been reading much ff these past few months (haven’t been reading much of anything tbh) AO3 confuses me so much that I just gave up, plus the tags are absolutely WILD. As for what I’ve been reading recently, currently trying to finish The Syndicator by RuNyx, and the other book that I mentioned is Us Deadly few by Alexis Patton. As for my next read, I’m not sure yet. I haven’t decided if I’m in a small town romance mood or a romantasy mood

@ManobanLee nooooooo that's tragic! i do the thing in bookstores where i read the last page of a book before i buy it and it might be bad reading practice but its better than being disappointed after being invested... there's (almost) always fanfiction tho! and in ao3 the tag culture is quite excellent so i never get surprised badly
            what have u been reading? i just finished "one of us is lying" and "fourth wing" and im bingeing some dramione fanfics
