Someone told me that if I keep saying "it won't happen" then it really want. So set a goal and persue it. 

You're different. I'm different. We all are. Which means your're one of a kind no one can act like you. no one can think like you. no one can take your place. But doesn't that also mean that your in this world to do your own special and unique thing? But if you didn't do that it doesn't mean you're useless it just means you failed to get out all the potential in you. You don't lack the ability you lack the desire.
